Regulatory Business Analyst – European Hedge Fund

About the role

This position supports a leading multi‑strategy hedge fund in London, focusing on regulatory reporting and control initiatives for its European trading platform. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with evolving European and UK regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver regulatory change initiatives across European and UK reporting frameworks such as EMIR, MiFID/MiFIR, SFTR, AIFMD, FCA, IFPR and ICARA.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for regulatory reporting.
• Analyse existing reporting processes, controls and data flows, identifying gaps and recommending enhancements.
• Support the enhancement of transaction and trade reporting infrastructure.
• Perform gap analysis between current and target regulatory states.
• Coordinate UAT testing and implementation activities for new reporting solutions.

Required profile

• Strong business analysis experience within financial services.
• Proven expertise in regulatory reporting frameworks and remediation programmes.
• Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle and multi‑asset products.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
