About the role

This position offers a senior‑level solicitor role focused on economic crime, regulatory investigations and criminal litigation. You will work on high‑profile, technically challenging matters for a diverse client base, delivering commercially‑focused advice while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of complex, high‑value economic crime and regulatory matters with a high degree of autonomy.
• Provide clear, commercially‑oriented legal advice to clients and act as a trusted adviser.
• Develop and strengthen client relationships, identifying opportunities to add value and grow the practice.
• Contribute to business development through networking, thought‑leadership, articles, presentations and industry events.
• Mentor and supervise junior lawyers, supporting their professional development.
• Support the achievement of individual and team performance targets with strong commercial awareness.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in regulatory and compliance work.
• Proven experience in criminal litigation and a solid understanding of the criminal justice system and broader regulatory environment.
• Ability to manage complex matters independently while recognising when collaboration is needed.
• Demonstrated interest in building client relationships and contributing to business growth.
• Experience supervising, mentoring or supporting junior colleagues.
