Reinsurance Claims Adjuster

About the role

We are seeking a Reinsurance Claims Adjuster to join our expanding Lloyd's Managing Agency in London. You will manage UK and international casualty, professional indemnity, warranty & indemnity (W&I), directors & officers (D&O) reinsurance treaty claims, with occasional motor reinsurance work. The role is hybrid, allowing you to collaborate closely with underwriting, brokers, clients and colleagues across the London market.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and settle casualty, professional indemnity, W&I, D&O and motor reinsurance treaty claims.
• Liaise with underwriting teams, brokers and clients to gather information and negotiate settlements.
• Maintain accurate claim files and ensure compliance with policy terms and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to provide timely updates and resolve complex claim issues.
• Support the development of professional qualifications and continuous learning.

Required profile

• Prior experience in reinsurance claims handling or a strong background in casualty/financial‑lines claims.
• Demonstrated analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model based in London.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with brokers, clients and internal teams.
