Relationship Manager - Structured Real Estate

About the role

Join Sterling Williams Ltd as a Relationship Manager within the Structured Real Estate team. Based in London with a hybrid working model, you will support the team in meeting finance targets and act as the primary contact for owned cases and existing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Structured Real Estate in identifying and analysing new opportunities and presenting them to Credit Committees.
• Generate new business, oversee deal drawdown, and manage the portfolio’s life‑cycle.
• Identify watch triggers and early warning indicators, designing bespoke workout strategies.
• Prepare high‑quality credit proposals and ensure compliance with credit policies.
• Conduct annual reviews, watch submissions, and customer due‑diligence write‑ups.
• Perform stress‑scenario cash‑flow modelling and use risk‑ranking, pricing and PD tools.
• Manage covenant compliance, non‑standard conditions precedent and discounted stressed cash‑flow models.
• Maintain knowledge of the bank’s products, competitor offerings and collaborate with underwriting and other stakeholders to achieve asset targets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with introducer networks and cross‑sell additional bank products.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education in finance, business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience working in a regulated financial environment.
• Strong oral and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to diagnose issues, prioritize work and drive solutions to completion.
• Assertiveness and confidence to discuss technical decisions with senior audiences.

• Cash‑flow modelling (discounted stressed cash‑flow analysis).
