Reliability Lead Engineer

About the role

Join a market‑leading FMCG manufacturer as a Reliability Lead Engineer, responsible for driving plant reliability and continuous improvement across a highly automated production facility. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to maximise asset performance and minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement reliability strategies to improve asset performance.
• Lead root‑cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Analyse plant performance, downtime and OEE data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Coordinate engineering projects and CAPEX reliability initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in reliability engineering or asset reliability within a fast‑paced FMCG environment.
• Previous management, supervisory or engineering leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Recognised engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent).
