Relief Chef Manager – Senior Living Kitchens

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Relief Chef Manager to join our senior‑living kitchen teams across Bournemouth, Andover and Enfield. This full‑time position offers the chance to lead a dedicated team while delivering nutritious, high‑quality meals for our residents.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and oversee the production of all meals to the highest culinary standards.
• Lead, motivate and manage kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety regulations.
• Control stock, place orders and manage budgets efficiently.
• Develop innovative menus that meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
• Ensure consistent presentation, portion control and quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Chef, Chef Manager or Head Chef, preferably in care, hospitality or senior‑living environments.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Good knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Passion for delivering excellent culinary experiences.
• Flexible and adaptable to a mobile working pattern.
