Relief Female Support Worker – Supported Living

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic female support workers to provide relief coverage in our supported living service in Waterloo. You will work alongside a small team to help five adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities and autism live independently in self‑contained apartments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical, emotional and behavioural support to service users.
• Assist with day‑to‑day household tasks such as cooking, bill payment and general home management.
• Provide personal care and promote dignity, independence and well‑being.
• Build warm, trusting relationships and encourage community engagement.

Required profile

• Female (occupational requirement under Equality Act 2010).
• At least 12 months experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
• Calm, resourceful, proactive with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Driver’s licence preferred but not essential.
