Relief Residential Support Worker

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Relief Residential Support Workers to join our Bromham residential service. You will provide person‑centred support to adults with learning and physical disabilities, helping them achieve daily goals and engage with the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Support service users both in their homes and out in the Bromham community.
• Teach and reinforce life‑skills such as shopping, using public transport and cooking.
• Facilitate recreational activities – walks, films, bowling, discos and shopping trips.
• Provide emotional support to individuals and their families.
• Deliver respectful personal care while maintaining dignity.
• Assist with day‑to‑day service operations, including medication administration, paperwork and email handling.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of care experience.
• Motivated, reliable and able to work independently.
• Valid UK right to work; sponsorship not available.
• Driving licence desirable but not essential.

Required skills

• Experience with personal care and supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to administer medication safely.
• Basic administrative skills for paperwork and email communication.
