Relief Support Worker

About the role

Thera Trust is seeking enthusiastic Relief Support Workers to join our inclusive team in Accrington. You will provide person‑centred support to adults with learning disabilities on a flexible, part‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Assist individuals in developing new skills and achieving personal goals.
• Provide personal, emotional and practical support in daily living.
• Help plan and manage household tasks, leisure activities, employment pursuits and travel.
• Work both in the person’s home and within the community, adapting support to each individual’s needs.

Required profile

• No prior experience or qualifications required – full training is provided.
• Comfortable with lone working and supporting people with mental health needs.
• Compassionate, confident and motivated with strong communication skills.
• Self‑starter, professional demeanor and eager to embrace the organisation’s values.

• Guaranteed monthly salary of £13.00 per hour with annualised hours.
