Relief Support Worker – Person‑Centred Care (Darlington)

About the role

Creative Support Ltd is seeking an energetic, person‑centred Relief Support Worker to join our team in Darlington. You will provide high‑quality care to service users with learning disabilities and other support needs, helping them live independent and fulfilling lives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver flexible, person‑centred support to service users on a relief basis.
• Assist with the administration and monitoring of prescribed medication in line with the medication policy.
• Promote independence by supporting personal care, social skills, daily living activities and confidence building.
• Maintain the safety, security and comfort of service users’ homes.
• Encourage self‑esteem, happiness and emotional wellbeing.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in a support or care role.
• Understanding of positive behaviour support is desirable (training provided).
• Eligibility to work in the UK and residence in the UK.
• Commitment to flexible working patterns and weekly payment.
