About the role

Riverside Group is seeking a part‑time Relief Worker to join its team at Ark House in Stroud. You will provide high‑quality, customer‑focused support to residents, helping to maintain their dignity, health and wellbeing in a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate care and assistance to customers under the guidance of the scheme manager.
• Support individuals from diverse backgrounds, promoting their independence and comfort.
• Cover shifts on short notice, ensuring continuity of service.
• Collaborate with the support team to uphold Riverside’s standards of service.

Required profile

• Experience interacting with people from various backgrounds, whether through personal or professional contexts.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience and empathy.
• Strong customer focus and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Flexibility to work shifts as required and a positive, approachable attitude.
