Religious Education Teacher – Secondary School (Full‑time)

About the role

Quantum Scholars, in partnership with an outstanding all‑girls secondary school in South West London, is seeking an inspiring Religious Education (RE) teacher to start in September 2026. This permanent position offers the chance to shape the spiritual and ethical understanding of students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons that explore a wide range of beliefs, values and ethical issues.
• Foster critical thinking, respectful discussion and personal growth among learners.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development and enrichment of the Humanities curriculum.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and fellow teachers to maintain high standards of teaching and behaviour.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Religious Education at KS3 and KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for RE.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, inclusive lessons.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
