Remote Applications Lead

About the role

This remote position leads the technical management and support of Oracle Cloud HCM modules for a UK‑based client. You will act as the primary point of contact for complex incidents, system enhancements, and integration projects, ensuring smooth operation of the cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical support and incident resolution for Oracle Cloud HCM.
• Manage system development, configuration changes, and enhancements from requirements gathering through implementation.
• Coordinate quarterly Oracle Cloud updates, regression testing and routine maintenance.
• Oversee integrations between feeder systems and Oracle Cloud using the PaaS platform.
• Collaborate with third‑party support providers to maintain service excellence.
• Provide expert advice on Oracle Cloud functionality and best practices to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to change management, testing standards and governance procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing Oracle Cloud HCM environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities for complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with business users, service managers and external partners.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines.
