About the role
Pearson Plc is seeking a qualified teacher to work as a GCE A Level Physics Examiner (2016 Specification). The role involves marking candidates' responses remotely using the ePEN digital platform, ensuring consistency with the official mark scheme.
Key responsibilities
- Mark exam scripts accurately and consistently to maintain standards.
- Submit sample scripts to the Team Leader at designated times.
- Adhere to marking milestones and deadlines.
- Complete all required administrative tasks.
Required profile
- At least one academic year of recent teaching experience (within the last 8 years) in Physics.
- A recognised degree or equivalent qualification.
- Qualified teacher status.
- High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the ePEN marking platform.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
