Remote Litigation Attorney (15+ hrs/week)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney to join our remote team and help shape the next generation of legal reasoning AI. You will work at least 15 hours per week, creating realistic litigation scenarios and evaluating model outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Design high‑quality civil litigation scenarios covering motions, discovery, depositions, briefs, and case strategy.
• Write attorney‑level reference responses that serve as benchmarks for AI model evaluation.
• Grade model‑generated outputs against structured rubrics and established legal standards.
• Provide detailed written feedback to research teams to improve model behavior and reasoning quality.
• Participate in onboarding sessions and specialty calibration to ensure consistency across evaluations.

Required profile

• Strong experience in civil litigation at a law firm, government agency, or corporate legal department.
• J.D. (U.S.) or LL.B./LL.M. from an accredited law school with active licensure to practice law.
• Excellent written communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Background in employment litigation, patent litigation, or other niche areas is a plus.
• Familiarity with e‑discovery tools such as Relativity, document coding, and privilege review is advantageous.
