Remote Part-time Finance Manager

About the role

Our client, an international technology and consultancy business, is seeking a Remote Part‑time Finance Manager. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will own the finance function, provide commercial insight and support strategic growth initiatives while working flexibly from home.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the finance function, including cash‑flow management.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts and financial reports.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow and overall business performance.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll and banking activities.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with senior stakeholders, presenting financial information and supporting decision‑making.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Drive process improvements, efficiencies and strengthen financial controls.
• Manage and mentor a Finance Assistant.
• Contribute to strategic projects and business growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager, owning a finance function.
• Strong management accounting and reporting expertise.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in a technology, software or SaaS environment.
• Proactive, improvement‑focused mindset.
