Remote Private Client Solicitor (Wills, Probate & Trusts)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a leading UK probate provider on a fully remote basis. You will inherit an established portfolio covering wills, probate, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, inheritance tax planning and trusts, while enjoying the flexibility of working from anywhere.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of private client matters, including drafting wills, handling probate and estate administration.
• Provide advice on lasting powers of attorney, inheritance tax strategies and trust structures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients and external referrers.
• Mentor and support junior team members, including legal executives and paralegals.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify cross‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor (or experienced legal executive/paralegal) with a strong background in private client work.
• Proven ability to handle complex probate and estate planning matters.
• Self‑motivated with excellent organisational skills and the capacity to work independently.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality client service and meeting revenue targets.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of wills, probate, LPA, inheritance tax and trust law.
• Experience using legal practice management software (e.g., Clio, LEAP) – if mentioned explicitly.
