About the role

Our client, a leading provider of removals and storage solutions, is seeking a dynamic Removals Group Sales & Customer Service Manager for its Manchester branch. The role combines leadership of both sales and customer service teams, ensuring revenue growth, high service standards and a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue, margin and contribution targets.
• Drive brand awareness and business development through account management and day‑to‑day sales activities.
• Oversee move coordination processes and ensure first‑class service delivery.
• Monitor and improve customer satisfaction metrics, response times and overall service quality.
• Handle escalated customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Analyse sales and service data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with operational teams to guarantee smooth service delivery.
• Implement process improvements to boost efficiency and productivity.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training of team members.
• Prepare regular performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a sales and customer service management role, preferably within the removals sector.
• Strong leadership and team‑development capabilities.
• Strategic mindset with a track record of achieving commercial targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Commercial awareness and strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills
