Rent Recovery Officer – Housing Provider

About the role
Join a collaborative, tenant‑focused housing provider in London as a Rent Recovery Officer. You will manage a portfolio of properties, ensuring rental income is maximised while delivering excellent customer support to tenants.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants on rent‑related queries.
- Lead rent accounts and intervene to recover outstanding payments.
- Follow landlord‑approved escalation processes and procedures.
- Achieve personal and team KPIs, contributing to the take‑up of Universal Credit.
Required profile
- Knowledge of income management and relevant housing legislation.
- Understanding of welfare benefits and ability to work with financial records and IT systems.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work well within a team.
- Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
