Repair Technician – X‑ray Equipment

About the role

Perform depot‑level repairs on monoblock X‑ray tanks and X‑ray tube assemblies down to component level. The role is based at the Bedfordshire repair centre and reports to the Senior Manager Technical Support‑UK/EU.

Key responsibilities

• Un‑crate, bench‑test, diagnose, repair and re‑install X‑ray assemblies, followed by final operational testing.
• Document each repair activity in the designated depot repair application and maintain inventory of defective assemblies and spare components.
• Coordinate stocking levels with order management to ensure parts availability and meet repair demand.
• Provide weekly repair metrics reports to Technical Operations management.
• Collaborate with Support, Service, Supply Chain and Engineering teams to ensure successful cross‑functional repairs.

Required profile

• High‑level knowledge of electronics, electrical and electromechanical systems, with proven experience repairing high‑voltage X‑ray equipment.
• Solid working knowledge of Windows operating systems, firmware, automation, conveyor and control systems.
• Minimum five years of traceable technical repair experience and a valid UK passport.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
