About the role
The Representations Officer will manage parking‑related representations and enquiries on behalf of the council, ensuring compliance with statutory processes and service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and respond to parking‑related correspondence in line with statutory processes, KPIs and council procedures.
- Prepare cases and present evidence at adjudication hearings before the Environment and Traffic Adjudicators (London Tribunals).
- Review and manage parking permit and suspension applications within set timescales.
- Handle inbound calls and emails in a specialist parking customer‑service environment.
- Identify trends in complaints and representations and provide feedback to management.
Required profile
- Proven experience working as a Representations Officer.
- Experience investigating and responding to parking‑related correspondence.
- Background working within a local authority environment.
- Ability to meet statutory deadlines and KPIs.
