Resales & Staircasing Officer

About the role

Our client, a large housing association, is seeking a Resales & Staircasing Officer to manage a caseload of shared‑ownership resales, staircasing transactions and occasional void property disposals. The role is hybrid, with three days in the office and two days remote, initially for three months with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of resales, staircasing and void property disposals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout each transaction.
• Progress cases efficiently, accurately and in line with agreed targets.
• Liaise with solicitors, agents and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver excellent outcomes.
• Support continuous improvement of processes and service delivery.

Required profile

• Residential conveyancing experience.
• Strong customer‑service and case‑management background.
• Proven ability to handle a high‑volume workload and meet deadlines/KPIs.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder‑management skills.
• High attention to detail.

What we offer

• £23.57 per hour PAYE.
• 35 hours per week, Monday‑Friday.
• Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days home).
• Initial three‑month contract with potential extension.
