Researcher – Neural Network Model Architect

About the role

We are opening our first European office in London and seeking a senior researcher to advance real‑time multimodal intelligence. The role focuses on designing novel neural network architectures that push the state‑of‑the‑art.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct groundbreaking research on alternative architectures such as state‑space models, efficient Transformers and hybrid designs.
• Design models that improve quality, inference efficiency and adaptability across cloud and on‑device deployments.
• Explore capabilities like statefulness, long‑range memory and innovative conditioning mechanisms.
• Develop evaluation frameworks and benchmark performance in research and production settings.

Required profile

• Proven research track record in top‑tier ML/AI venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR) or demonstrable state‑of‑the‑art contributions.
• Deep expertise in neural architecture design and understanding of system constraints for cloud and on‑device deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with an experimental, iterative approach.

Required skills

• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Proficiency using profiling tools to assess model performance.
• Knowledge of state‑space models, Transformers, RNN and CNN variants.
• Familiarity with generative modeling paradigms including autoregressive and diffusion models.
