Reservations Agent

About the role

Join our dynamic travel team as a Reservations Agent, designing bespoke holidays that showcase the excitement of African safaris. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with clients and colleagues to create memorable travel experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage tailor‑made holiday packages based on client preferences.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities for additional travel services and exclusive experiences.
• Provide expert advice on destinations, itineraries, and travel options.
• Handle client inquiries, bookings, and related administrative tasks efficiently.
• Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the booking process.
• Support the team with general administrative duties.
• Stay informed on industry trends to offer innovative travel solutions.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for African safari holidays with solid destination knowledge.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Minimum three years’ experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar client‑facing role (graduates with strong potential are also considered).
• Strong organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and a proven track record of delivering quality results.
• Experience selling holidays, creating packages, and understanding the travel market.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation systems.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
