Reservations Agent (Travel Consultant)

About the role

Join our dynamic team as a Reservations Agent, designing bespoke African safari holidays that match each client’s preferences. You’ll work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with colleagues and delivering memorable travel experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage tailor‑made holiday packages for clients.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Identify and pursue upsell and cross‑sell opportunities for additional travel services.
• Provide expert advice on destinations, itineraries, and exclusive experiences.
• Handle client inquiries, bookings, and related administrative tasks efficiently.
• Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the booking process.
• Support the team with general administrative duties.
• Stay current with industry trends to offer innovative travel solutions.

Required profile

• A genuine passion for African safari holidays with solid destination knowledge.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar client‑facing role (graduates with strong motivation are also considered).
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving capabilities.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑quality results on time.
• Experience selling holidays, creating packages, and understanding the travel market.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation systems.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
