Resident Optometrist – Cambridge

About the role

Insightful Recruitment is partnering with a premium optical practice in Cambridge to hire a Resident Optometrist. You will work 24 hours per week across Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, delivering high‑quality eye care in a modern, fashion‑led environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations for adult patients.
• Recommend appropriate spectacle lenses, including varifocals, based on lifestyle and visual needs.
• Educate patients about eye health, prescriptions and lens options.
• Provide expert clinical advice and support to the retail team.
• Assist with spectacle collections, quality checks and maintain clinical standards.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout each consultation.

Required profile

• Committed to delivering personalised patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a store manager and retail staff.
• Willingness to develop the optical knowledge of the wider team.
