Residential Care Manager

About the role

We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic Residential Care Manager to lead the team at Moorlands Lodge Care Home in Hindhead, Surrey. In this permanent position you will ensure high‑quality personal care for our residents while supporting and developing the care staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor Care Supervisors, Carers and Senior Carers to deliver excellent resident care.
• Coordinate resident assessments and ensure accurate, up‑to‑date care plans.
• Oversee equipment storage, cleaning and maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with the Safe Medication Management programme and conduct regular audits.
• Perform quality care spot checks and report on care standards.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent qualification.
• At least two years’ experience in long‑term or residential care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards.
• Proven experience leading a care team.
