Residential Care Worker – Support Children with SEN

About the role
We are looking for compassionate Residential Care Workers to join our team in Lingfield. You will support children and young adults with special educational needs and disabilities, helping them build confidence, independence and achieve personal goals.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal care, mobility assistance and communication support tailored to each young person.
- Manage challenging behaviours with patience and de‑escalation techniques.
- Support daily living activities, including meals, hygiene and recreational programmes.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create and follow individual care plans.
- Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming residential environment.
Required profile
- Kind, patient and resilient with a genuine desire to help young people.
- Willingness to learn and undertake full training from day one.
- Ability to work Monday‑to‑Friday during term‑time (39 weeks per year).
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
