Residential Care Worker – Support for Children & Young Adults

About the role

We are looking for compassionate Residential Care Workers to join our team in Lingfield. You will support children and young adults with special educational needs and disabilities, helping them build confidence, independence and achieve personal goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care, mobility assistance and communication support.
• Implement behaviour‑management strategies and promote positive social interaction.
• Encourage development of life‑skills such as cooking, budgeting and personal hygiene.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents and progress.

Required profile

• Kind, patient and resilient with a genuine desire to help young people.
• Ability to work Monday‑to‑Friday during term‑time (39 weeks per year).
• Willingness to learn and undertake full training from day one.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
