Residential Conveyancer – Farnham

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Residential Conveyancer to join a leading law firm in Farnham, Surrey. The role involves managing residential property transactions from instruction through to post‑completion, providing clear advice and high‑quality client care.

Key responsibilities

• Manage freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Handle remortgages, transfers of equity and shared‑ownership matters.
• Deal with both registered and unregistered land.
• Progress files from instruction to exchange, completion and post‑completion.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, developers and other solicitors.
• Provide regular updates and clear advice throughout each transaction.
• Handle new‑build transactions, meeting developer and lender requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer.
• Proven experience in residential conveyancing.
• Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing law and procedures.
• Organised, able to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision.

• Salary £40,000‑£50,000 per year, dependent on experience.
