Residential Conveyancer – Gillingham (Hybrid)

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join its award‑winning team in Gillingham. The role involves managing a varied caseload of freehold and leasehold transactions while providing proactive client communication.

Key responsibilities

• Manage freehold, leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Provide clear, proactive communication to clients throughout each transaction.
• Supervise and mentor junior and support staff.
• Support marketing, networking and business development activities.
• Provide cover for colleagues during absences.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of conveyancing law and market trends.

Required profile

• Law degree, LPC, CILEx, Licensed Conveyancer or strong experience without formal qualifications.
• Proven residential conveyancing experience with the ability to run files independently.
• Confident using case management systems and digital workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a client‑care focus.
• Ambitious, proactive and keen to develop professionally.
• Collaborative and supportive team player.
