Residential Conveyancer (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Residential Conveyancer to join our fast‑growing property team. The role can be performed remotely, on‑site or in a hybrid fashion across our Salisbury, Andover, Amesbury or Fordingbridge offices. You will work closely with solicitors, clients and internal specialists to deliver high‑quality residential conveyancing services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end residential conveyancing transactions, ensuring compliance and timely completion.
• Liaise with clients, solicitors and mortgage providers to gather information and resolve queries.
• Coordinate with specialist onboarding and post‑completion teams to guarantee smooth hand‑overs.
• Maintain accurate billing records and achieve strong billing performance.
• Support the growth of the property department by contributing ideas and best practices.
• Oversee and, where appropriate, train a dedicated paralegal.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in residential conveyancing (FILEX or Licensed Conveyancer preferred).
• Excellent communication and client‑care skills.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
• History of strong billing and a collaborative team attitude.
• Willingness to assist in training junior staff.

Required skills

• IT proficiency (experience with conveyancing software and standard office applications).
