Residential Conveyancer

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Residential Conveyancer to join a multi‑site High Street law firm in East Somerset. You will manage the full conveyancing cycle for residential property transactions, working within a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end conveyancing for sales, purchases, remortgages and equity transfers.
• Draft and review contracts, transfer deeds and completion statements.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other stakeholders to keep transactions progressing.
• Conduct property searches, land‑registry checks and title investigations.
• Coordinate with external solicitors and internal teams to meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Provide clear client updates and resolve any issues promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Residential Conveyancer (part‑qualified or fully qualified).
• Strong knowledge of property law, land‑registry procedures and conveyancing processes.
• Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with legal IT systems and case‑management software.
