Residential Conveyancer (NQ+)

About the role

We are seeking a Residential Conveyancer (NQ+) to join a well‑established law firm in County Durham. The successful candidate will manage a full caseload of residential property transactions, providing advice from instruction through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Handle residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages.
• Advise clients on all aspects of residential property transactions and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate case files and meet agreed timelines for each transaction.
• Develop and sustain strong client relationships through clear communication and high‑quality service.
• Collaborate with a supportive team of solicitors and fee earners to deliver consistent results.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer, legal executive or fee earner with NQ+ experience in residential conveyancing.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage a varied caseload independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused approach.
• Proactive, commercially aware and committed to delivering high standards of service.
