Residential Conveyancer / Property Solicitor – Partner Track

About the role

We are a growing, well‑regarded law firm in Prestwich seeking a Residential Conveyancer, Conveyancing Executive or Property Solicitor to join our expanding team. The position offers a clear route to senior leadership and partnership for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion, covering freehold, leasehold and shared‑ownership transactions.
• Oversee a small team (up to three members) including a 2‑year PQE solicitor, ensuring smooth file progression and compliance.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties throughout the conveyancing process.
• Contribute to departmental development, risk management, compliance and process improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior staff and support team development (for senior candidates).

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential conveyancing, with the ability to manage files independently.
• Strong knowledge of the full conveyancing lifecycle and relevant compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and client‑care skills.
• Previous supervisory experience or a clear ambition to move into a leadership role (desirable).
