Residential Conveyancer – £35k+ (DOE)

About the role

Our client, a well‑established law firm in Essex, is looking for a motivated Residential Conveyancer to manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions. You will work independently while contributing to a collaborative team, delivering a smooth and efficient service to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Run residential conveyancing matters from initial instruction to post‑completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, remortgages, new‑build transactions and shared‑ownership matters.
• Provide general residential property advice and maintain regular client communication.
• Support colleagues across the department and contribute to team success.

Required profile

• Qualified Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 1 year PQE.
• Strong understanding of residential property transaction processes and current conveyancing practice.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage files efficiently.
• Proactive approach to business development and client relationship building.
• Ability to work independently and positively within a team.
• Professional, approachable and personable demeanor.
