Residential Conveyancer – Wirral

About the role

We are recruiting an experienced Residential Conveyancer for a well‑established law firm in Wirral. You will manage your own residential property caseload from instruction through to completion, supported by a full‑time office‑based Conveyancing Assistant.

Key responsibilities

• Take client instructions, provide clear advice and manage the conveyancing process from start to finish.
• Draft and finalise contracts, TR1s, SDLT documentation and other conveyancing paperwork.
• Liaise with lenders, estate agents, solicitors and other parties to ensure smooth transactions.
• Monitor key dates, coordinate exchange of contracts and completion, and handle post‑completion tasks such as Land Registry applications.
• Maintain accurate case management, time recording and billing information while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload.
• Strong knowledge of the residential property transaction process and related documentation.
• Excellent communication, client relationship and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple transactions and meet deadlines.
• Commercial awareness of the wider property market.
