Residential Conveyancing Lawyer – Haywards Heath

About the role

This position offers a motivated Residential Conveyancing Lawyer the chance to manage a full residential conveyancing caseload for a respected practice in Haywards Heath. You will work with high‑net‑worth clients, handling a variety of property transactions while being part of a collaborative, performance‑driven team.

Key responsibilities

• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases from instruction to completion.
• Process remortgages, transfers of equity, new‑build and shared‑ownership matters.
• Conduct title checks, draft contracts and raise/respond to enquiries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, clients and colleagues.
• Attend monthly fee‑earner meetings and provide file cover support when required.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, CILEX or CLC professional (NQ to 10 years PQE).
• Proven ability to manage a full residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Commercially aware with a proactive mindset.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicator and strong team player.

Required skills

• Qualified Solicitor status or equivalent conveyancing qualification.
• Experience in residential property transactions, title investigations and contract drafting.
