Residential Conveyancing Solicitor (FCILEX) – Reading

About the role

We are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor (FCILEX) or Licensed Conveyancer to join our growing Property team in Reading. You will manage a busy residential conveyancing portfolio from instruction through to post‑completion, delivering high‑quality legal advice to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and new‑build property transactions.
• Maintain the firm’s high client‑service standards by working closely with the wider Property team.
• Develop and nurture relationships with local agents, introducers and other professional contacts to support business development.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, FCILEX or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of all aspects of residential conveyancing.
• Excellent communication and client‑care abilities.
• Proactive, commercially aware and able to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative environment.
• Interest in networking and building long‑term professional relationships.
