Residential Development Manager

About the role

Our client, the UK's leading residential property services provider, is seeking a Residential Development Manager to oversee a North London development with extensive communal gardens and a £1.8 million service‑charge budget. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, based onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain effective service levels and act as the primary representative to customers, developers and clients.
• Build and sustain relationships with Residents Associations, RMCs and RTMs, attending meetings as required.
• Lead and coach direct reports, conduct performance reviews and ensure KPI and SLA compliance.
• Manage budgets, set service charges, prepare bi‑monthly financial summaries and quarterly client reports.
• Handle complaints up to Stage 1 and support the Regional Manager with Stage 2 escalations.
• Oversee risk assessments, health‑and‑safety checks and routine testing, ensuring timely completion.
• Monitor contractors, supervise works, and ensure compliance with High‑Building‑Safety legislation and Section 20 consultation processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential property or development management.
• Strong ability to maintain stakeholder relationships and deliver training.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills for managing teams and external partners.
• Demonstrated competence in financial control, budgeting and reporting.

Required skills

• Knowledge of High‑Building‑Safety legislation.
• Understanding of Section 20 consultation procedures.
• Risk assessment and health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Financial reporting and service‑charge budgeting.
