About the role

A leading national law firm is seeking a Residential Development Solicitor (3‑5 years PQE) to join its Manchester team. You will work on high‑value land transactions for major housebuilders, regional developers and institutional landowners across England and Wales.

Key responsibilities

• Manage strategic land acquisitions, development and collaboration agreements.
• Draft and negotiate conditional contracts, options, funding arrangements and joint venture documents.
• Support urban regeneration projects and large‑scale residential schemes.
• Collaborate with specialist planning, construction and litigation teams.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in residential or commercial property law.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex, high‑value land transactions.
• Strong analytical and commercial judgment.
• Motivation to specialise in residential development and progress within a market‑leading practice.
