Residential Property Paralegal (Full‑Time)

About the role

Join the Residential Property team to deliver outstanding client service through clear, expert advice and assistance. The role is suited to a proactive, client‑focused paralegal who thrives in a supportive, engaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct support to fee earners, preparing correspondence, documents and transcribing digital dictation.
• Manage filing systems, opening, closing, storing and retrieving client files.
• Prepare and dispatch mail and enclosures via post, email or fax.
• Arrange appointments, maintain diaries for fee earners and set up conference rooms with refreshments.
• Attend to clients and agents in person and by telephone in a professional, friendly manner.
• Prepare completion statements and assist with post‑exchange and pre‑completion formalities.
• Complete online forms such as SDLT and submit Land Registry forms.
• Obtain information from local authorities and handle registration and post‑completion formalities.
• Contribute to marketing and other non‑core departmental activities.
• Operate the firm’s case management system and maintain high standards of document presentation.

Required profile

• Legal background with some property experience.
• High accuracy, positive attitude and proactive approach.
• Strong professional communication and customer‑care skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and prioritise workload.
• Commitment to the firm’s values and genuine interest in legal work.

Required skills

• Good IT skills in relevant packages.
