Residential Property Paralegal

About the role

Join one of Surrey's largest legal practices as a Residential Property Paralegal. You will support fee earners in a collaborative, inclusive environment while delivering high‑quality client service across a range of property transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct administrative and procedural support to fee earners, including diary management and appointment scheduling.
• Prepare correspondence, legal documents and transcribe digital dictation where required.
• Maintain filing systems, manage client files and handle mail, copying and conference‑room setup.
• Assist with completion statements, post‑exchange and pre‑completion formalities.
• Complete online forms such as SDLT and Land Registry submissions and liaise with local authorities.
• Support marketing activities and uphold confidentiality using the firm’s Case Management System.

Required profile

• Legal background with some exposure to residential property work.
• Strong IT competence and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Pro‑active, initiative‑driven and aligned with the firm’s core values.
