About the role

This full‑time, office‑based position offers a hands‑on experience in residential conveyancing, supporting solicitors from instruction through to completion. The role is designed for ambitious legal professionals who want a clear pathway from paralegal to trainee lawyer.

Key responsibilities

• Assist solicitors with a broad range of residential conveyancing transactions.
• Draft, prepare and progress legal documentation.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other legal professionals.
• Manage case files, monitor key deadlines and support each stage of the transaction process.
• Develop technical knowledge and commercial understanding of residential property law.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience within a residential conveyancing team.
• Experience handling residential sale matters from instruction to completion under supervision.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Professional communication style and ability to work efficiently in a busy office environment.
• Genuine ambition to build a long‑term career in residential property law.
