Residential Property Solicitor – Conveyancing

About the role

Join a well‑established multi‑office law firm as a Residential Property Solicitor, working primarily from our Chard office. You will manage a full residential conveyancing caseload, providing expert advice and maintaining the firm’s reputation for client‑focused service.

Key responsibilities

• Handle sales and purchases of leasehold and freehold properties.
• Advise on remortgaging, transfer of equity, and equity release transactions.
• Manage purchases of newly built homes, auction sales, lease extensions, shared ownership and Right‑to‑Buy schemes.
• Liaise with estate agents, mortgage brokers and surveyors throughout each transaction.
• Maintain high standards of client care, including regular face‑to‑face meetings.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with proven residential conveyancing experience.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable meeting clients in person and delivering responsive service.
