Residential Property Solicitor – NQ to 5 years PQE

About the role

We are seeking a bright and enthusiastic newly‑qualified (NQ) solicitor or a legal executive with up to five years PQE to join our thriving Residential Property team in Brighton. You will work on a variety of residential conveyancing matters, including sales and purchases, freehold and leasehold transactions, new builds and high‑rise projects, while receiving extensive training and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion.
• Handle freehold, leasehold, new‑build and high‑rise property sales and purchases.
• Provide high‑quality client service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Meet fair billing targets and contribute to the firm’s reputation for excellence.
• Collaborate with senior team members and share ideas for process improvement.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales or legal executive with solid residential conveyancing experience.
• Broad technical knowledge of property law and a commitment to staying updated.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional, detail‑oriented, honest and able to work well in a team.
