About the role
We are seeking compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our SEN residential unit in Lingfield. You will help children and young people with special educational needs develop confidence, independence and life‑skills in a safe, nurturing home‑like environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality care and emotional support to students living on‑site.
- Encourage independence and personal development through daily routines and activities.
- Support students with social activities, life‑skills training and wellbeing.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming “home‑from‑home” atmosphere.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists and the wider care team to achieve the best outcomes for each child.
Required profile
- Positive, compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team.
- Resilience, reliability and a genuine desire to make a difference.
- Previous experience in care, education or support work is beneficial but not essential.

- Term‑time only contract (39 weeks per year) – Monday to Friday, no weekend work.
