Residential Support Worker

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our team in Bedford. You will provide daily care and support for five adults with learning and physical disabilities, helping them enjoy a high quality of life in a residential bungalow setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver respectful personal care, including medication administration.
• Work flexible shifts covering evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Support service users in activities such as walks, shopping trips, sensory and arts‑and‑crafts sessions, and board games.
• Assist with budgeting, cooking, meal preparation and maintaining a home environment that reflects each individual's preferences.
• Promote independence and community participation through outings and local engagements.

Required profile

• Warm, caring personality with a proactive, positive attitude.
• Willingness to work varied shifts and collaborate with a small, active team.
• Commitment to supporting individuals to achieve personal goals.
• No prior experience required – full training will be provided.
