Residential Surveyor – Saffron Walden

About the role

Connells Survey & Valuation is seeking a Residential Surveyor to join its Saffron Walden office. You will carry out mortgage valuations and Level 2 & Level 3 residential surveys, producing clear reports that help lenders and homeowners make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct mortgage valuations and Level 2/Level 3 surveys in line with RICS standards and Connells’ quality benchmarks.
• Prepare detailed, accurate valuation and survey reports.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, lenders and internal teams.
• Manage your diary and workload independently, ensuring timely delivery.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism, accuracy and customer service.

Required profile

• AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS qualification.
• Experience in mortgage valuations and residential surveys preferred, with training provided if needed.
• Willingness to undertake additional training.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality surveys and valuations.
