Resilience Programme Manager

About the role

Barclays is seeking a Resilience Programme Manager to lead change programmes that strengthen the bank’s resilience across technology, third parties, people and premises. The role will translate strategic priorities into delivery plans, drive automation and continuous improvement, and coordinate multiple business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a collection of related projects to achieve strategic business objectives and long‑term benefits.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across executives, project managers and external partners, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
• Lead risk and issue management at a programme level, focusing on cross‑project dependencies.
• Allocate resources, monitor budgets and track financial health of the overall programme.
• Drive change at a macro level, ensuring cohesive implementation across projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional change or transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of resilience across technology, third parties, people and premises, including vulnerability identification and mitigation.
• Excellent governance, analytical and stakeholder‑management skills, with ability to influence senior leaders.

• Experience delivering large‑scale remediation or stability improvement programmes.
• Experience improving processes, automating controls and measuring benefits.
